I Can Has Hamburger....Cupcakes

Not only can I crochet, but I can also cook! I made these tonight for my coworkers...this is totally going to beat out whatever Laura decides to bring in tomorrow! They are really super easy to make! All you need is:
Yellow Cupcakes
Chocolate Cupcakes
Green Food coloring
shreaded Coconut
Frosting
Orange Fruit by the foot
Sesame seeds

The thing that took the longest was making all the yellow and chocolate cupcakes! I posted step by step pictures of me making them on flickr. nom nom nom!

Wow, those are sooooo cute! My friend made something very similar but a bit smaller, using nilla wafers and chocolate "Grasshopper" cookies for the buns/meat.

I LOVE the coconut lettuce, but so many people I know are *funny* about coconut. (I donated a pie to a church dinner last year, and had someone come up and ask me to make sure there was no coconut in it!). I wonder if there is anything you could substitute for the nit-pickies? Maybe just some green icing.
